Love the choice of colors as they amplify the possibility of mankind's eventual demise and the final clean-up of our DNA, eyeballs and all! Mike

Beware the space fire and flesh melting acid rain! This is yet another really cool piece....and I LOVE the message. How have I missed seeing this earlier?
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you !....this is one of my few “message” pieces. When it arrived at this point I thought about adding some smokestacks and freeways full of cars, but decided that approach would not only lead to visual clutter, but open up the can of worms arguments about who or what is causing Climate Change. It IS happening, and pointing fingers doesn’t solve the problem. You probably missed this piece because it was buried deep in my portfolio. I noticed that some FAA artists rotate some of their pieces up to the front of their profile page, so I recently started trying this approach.

Incredible and powerful artwork Douglas; your message is a perfect pairing for this unique artwork
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thanks for your wonderful compliment....I don’t often create works that have a meaningful message, but our planet needs our help !

Yes, our planet is in trouble with all the pollution, physical and energetically. I like the eyes on the trees. They are aware of the situation, but remain rooted in the earth like sentinels and energy storehouses.
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you for your very perceptive comment ....you are the first to notice the significance of the eyes being the only living organisms remaining....

Love this strange and beautiful work Douglas. Powerful.
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you ....I usually create art only as a self therapy program, and seldom do any “message “ art. But this subject really concerns me because the future of this planet and all living creatures upon it are in extreme danger. P

Wow, I love how you presented the overheating of our atmosphere in this intense artwork! It is scary and so creative. It definitely sends out a strong message! Bravo!

Very imaginative, and it's a very abstract and scary depiction (as it should be)
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you....actually, I intended to create a beautiful landscape based on the traditional masterpieces of many centuries of Chinese scroll paintings. I'm not much of a painter (which is why I started making collages decades ago) so after I sketched the tree trunks I realized that I couldn't paint any foliage that looked realistic, After I collaged in the eyeballs, the Global Warming idea popped up, so I changed the sky to red and tried to intensify the overheating of our atmosphere by adding multiple suns.....in gallery shows I tried to make viewers aware that our planet needs our help....
