Thank you !......for many years I only created art to entertain myself, it was just a hobby. Being self taught, I wasn’t aware of formal concepts like the color wheel and complimentary colors. When I started showing in galleries in 2002 I became friends with artists with college degrees, who informed me about such things. They said that I “had a gift for color” .....my response was “ I just like to play with colors till they look right “
