Description
I painted a wooden panel with mars black acrylic and glued a 12x12" sheet of zebra-stripe pattern paper at the bottom center. I added images of zebras and scraps of black&white paper until it suggested a tiki shape, and then completed that idea with eyes and ears. The vertical "energy flow stripes" are dental floss. This piece was chosen by a jury of the National Collage Society to appear in it's exhibit of signature members at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum in Arizona, December 2012-March 2013
