Description
This is a collage from a 2007 series that I created for Halloween. I embellished the surface with ballpoint and felt tip pens to emphasize the grotesque features of the mutated flesh....

I'm back to view your fabulous creativity....and now it is 2022, some are feeling relief, others are still in the nightmare......The food on the bottom is so symbolic of the difficulty with getting food at times and now with inflation...yet we are all moving forward and life goes on no matter what. So well done, Douglas!
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you, Laurie !…indeed, Life goes on and we who are still here have to be thankful for that blessing, because so many others were not so fortunate……

Fabulous and creepy creation. Love how you did the skin textures too. I won't get too close and touch... promise. ;o)
Douglas Fromm replied:
! Thank you....the skin textures were the fun part, and quite easy because of the many hours of doodling during school years. My fellow students were taking notes, but I was practicing doodles !

Oh this is a WOW! Not only do I love the creepiness in a good way, but it depicts the persona changes of many during this pandemic. It is a reminder of the edge many have along with the sadness of having to live this way. Wonderful creation!

Love the fact that it is almost an abstract. A reminder to wear a mask and self-isolate when possible. Douglas, thank you for the reminder. Mike

Thanks for your “creepy good “ comment !...it’s better than being creepy bad......
