Description
This work started when I collaged various buildings onto a reproduction of a village scene by Claude Pissarro. Later a friend digitally merged a mirror image with the original image which created this version.

What a grand adventure I am having viewing this PissarroVille. My eyes and mind inside out and upside down. But most of all ignites the muse in me. F/L for sure. Great gallery full of delights!

I am so glad that you enjoyed this !....it was a lot of work to look through hundreds of images of buildings to find the few that fit into the ‘Ville, but it finally came together rather nicely.

Interesting town you put together, I especially like the onion tops from red square at the the top of the hill; nicely done Douglas! F/V
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you..... .St. Basil’s Cathedral was definitely the best choice to top off the hill....because it was not only the right size and shape, but also because it is one of the most iconic buildings on the planet !
