This was an experiment. Sometimes I buy Pre-manufactured “store bought” frames to give away prints of my work to friends. There is a type called collage frames that come with a mat that has various size cutouts. The idea is to mount photographs on the cardboard backing that are the same size as the cutouts, and then place the mat on top before installing under the glass of the frame. If these “collage frames “ were on sale cheaper than the standard style frames, I would buy them and throw the collage mat away.
In this case I decided to see how a collage mat would fragment a print of one of my collages when placed in front of it, and then took a photograph.

A lot of movement, colorful, my eyes keep moving from square to square and then I want to take in the whole thing again. I know some of my work is a little strange, but i think you got me beat in that arena! LOL.
