Description
In 1966 I was stationed at the U.S. Army ‘s Presidio in Monterey California. My roommate was a photographer and showed me how to develop black and white film at the base darkroom. I soon moved up from a Kodak Brownie to a Leica 35mm from a pawn store. We walked around town taking photos every weekend. Our favorite place was at the mostly abandoned sardine canneries, many of which were unlocked.

This is a beautiful capture.

Thanks Darrell....in those days I didn’t really know what I was doing, if I saw something interesting I just aimed the camera and snapped the photo ....this was somewhat of a happy accident on a drizzly day....
