Description
Many years ago when steam locomotives were the kings of the railroads, they would pull under stations like this to have their coal tender cars reloaded with coal from an overhead chute . This one is still standing decades after depositing it’s last load, in the railyard near downtown Macon Georgia.

Thank you !....I was lucky to arrive here at the best time of day for the shadows, and there are very few good places here to capture this sprawling odd shaped structure. Right underneath seemed to be the best...

That is cool. I just bought a fully manual 35mm for my camera that is supposed to give images an older less technical look. I'm excited to work with it.

Thank you....I found this photo in a shoebox full of 4x5 prints that I took back in ancient times with my 30 year old 35 mm film camera. This image was captured around 2005....
