Description
I was walking around downtown Macon Georgia taking photos of brick walls and sidewalks when I saw this window of an artist’s studio. The window was on the second floor, so the upper photo appears smaller because it was taken with a standard lens. I returned the next day with a telephoto lens to capture a closeup shot for the lower photo.
After printing the photos I decided to make a collage. I built a background of brick walls and sidewalks, using a combination of my own photographs and several magazine photos of bricks.
I framed the completed collage and sold it at a decorator showcase event.

Your brick work certainly enhances the viewers perception of a biomorphic face in the lower pane. Very well choreographed. Mike

Thanks for your BioMorphic comment, Mike…. this face started it all….I sometimes wonder who put the canvas on an easel to share with passers by !
