Description
I took this photograph when I was stationed at the Presidio in Monterey California in 1966. I remember having to wait for a traffic light to stop vehicles so I could stand in the middle of the street just long enough to focus my Leica 35mm.
Looking at this print half a century later I notice things that I did not see at that time, like the penny scale, and a poster advertising the Temptations.
