I liked the way that the late afternoon sun created these triangular shadows on the back walls underneath this steel grate on a city street.

Fabulous work Douglas. It looks like an optical illusion.
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you ...it momentarily fooled me when I got ready to upload it. I took this photo with a 35mm film camera about 15 years ago in Savannah. Several weeks ago when I came across the 4x5 print in a shoebox full of color slides and prints , I photographed the print with my I Phone. When I first uploaded it to FAA something didn’t look right, and I realized it was upside down. This is the actual way that the original photo was taken .

Love this Douglas! Simple yet interesting.
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you....this was mostly “photographer’s luck”, I just happened to walk by this grate at the only time of day that the shadows turned into triangles ! Looking forward to seeing more of your photo safaris, you seem to find all kinds of unusual and fascinating subjects !
