This is the second image of a series that shows a work in progress. In the past I have had several visitors ask me how I create collages, so I started this series as a step by step demonstration.
The first image was entitled “Ovals and O’s and Zeros, uploaded in August 2017. Recently I have added a few dozen smaller ovals and o’s, along the inner edge of the design, and also replaced some of the existing circles with newer ones that I thought would improve the overall effect. The group of small circles in the center are not glued down, they are just sitting there while I decide which ones to use.
I rotated the 10 x 13 canvas to it’s vertical axis for this photograph because it seemed more interesting than the original horizontal alignment.
