I like how each inch of this piece tells a story.
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you, Janyce... I didn’t think of that while creating this, I was just trying to find images that were needed to balance the symmetry of the design....

Alawys so much to take in and examine Douglass, always love the artistic value of currency (no pun intended) and the bicylers up top have a free spirit and Campbell's Soup, how Warholian of you! Fantatsic creation! F/V and Tweet!
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thanks, Mike !.....you always have insightful comments. My creative process in those long ago days was” More is Better “, make sure every square inch is covered ! Warholian is a great adjective, I had not thought about that when adding the Campbell’s cans, I just needed a neutral background to accentuate the diamond face, and a grocery store ad fit right in.

A piece that definitely talks to the viewer. Very well crafted. Thank you for the psychedelia. Mike

I appreciate your compliment !.....this is one of my earliest collages from the period where I just kept adding images until they “ looked right “ !

I cannot believe all the views, yet no comment! This is an amazing work Douglas. It's the kind of work you could sit down in front of and every time, you would find something new. :o)

Thank you for being the first to comment....I have noticed this phenomenon before, and not just in my work. There might be some of your creations in this category also....sometimes I see what I think are fabulous pieces that have just been overlooked.
