Description
This is a freon tank that I recycled to decorate my back yard. I took it out of a flower garden for this photo. This was the last of a series of 12, the first 9 were painted black with with orange accents around the facial cutouts which were done with a cutting torch. There is a rectangular cutout in the back side of each so that a candle could be inserted. Those 9 were all sold at Halloween. The remaining 3 were redesigned to be yard art. I painted funky designs with acrylic and used industrial adhesive to attach metal washers, beads, buttons and plastic eyeballs

Cool man!
Douglas Fromm replied:
Thank you!... but is it "ART"? My friends, mostly artists, have divided opinions - a few think it is so-called Art, others say it is Junk Art , and some say it is just Junk. I don't worry about nomenclature, I just like to create things. Looking at this photo made me realize that I never really finished it, so I may sort thru my vast collection of Junk and "junkify" it some more. Maybe Encrust is a better verb! Keep crankin' out your exceptional thought provoking masterworks!
