Always brightens my day, makes me smile when I visit your art! Not only did I smile and chuckle with this wonderful creation, now I can't stop singing the song...I remember that song oh so well from the 60's Grace Slick---yeah!!! Happy 2022 my friend!

The text came from a burger advertisement in a food magazine….I built this image around that variation of the Airplane’s masterpiece. I had been saving the image of a boy eating a burger for quite some time, and I have a drawer full of burger ads so it was easy to find a cheeseburger the right size to frame Burger Boy. I placed all of them on a Thanksgiving tablecloth and took this photograph. By the way, I spent the summer of 1968 living in San Francisco’s Golden Gate park with hundreds of other campers. Grace and the band lived in the Airplane House across the street and sometimes gave free concerts in a large meadow….Unforgettable ! As another great song from the 60’s said - “Those Were the Days, my friend, We thought they’d never end, We’d Sing and Dance forever and a day !”
